a catch up!
hey:) so i kno i should have started a blog ages ago cause i have such a bad memory and keep forgetting to tell everyone whats been going on. so here we go- with a little catch up of the oz adventuring so far!
so ive been here for nearly 2 months no(what the flip?! its feels like 2 weeks!) and ive done heaps already.
im living with an australian family working as a live in nanny for them. theres Leah the mum she is really funny we get on well and zack whos six and twins, maya and lean who jsut turned 4.
slightly mad but good times!
two weeks ago we all went on holiday to the sunshine coast, mooloolaba o my goodness it was just gorgeous! the huge white sandy beaches and endless surf and surfers! every morning i got up at 6 and ran the lenght of the beach to the lihgt house and back.i could get used to this life! o if you ever make it to mooloolaba you have to go to Dicky'd beach! it was just awesome like one big beach party.
this week and last have been a bit of a mad rush of christmas santa present buying and wrapping, bakiing cakes and buns for family and visitors and trying to clean the pool and the garden for everyone coming. o my oodness yesterday i decided to trim all the palm trees in the garden-my arms r killing me today! it was hard work and so hot i had to do it in my bikini!
so were all getting ready for christmas day, dear knows what time the kids will come and wake me up at-on a normal day its between half 5 and 6! we're all going to leah's sister's house for the day. i think there will be 20 odd people there, and 6kids-ive meet nearly all of them before(including her very nice half brother who is 20 and plays in a band......)
then there is a big party at this house on boxing day with jody's family, they are family friends with 5 kids they r awesome and work for a wine company so always bring heaps of wine! then im hoping to make it up to gold coast to visit ben and martha during christmas week. these are two fellow lifeguards from america and they are house sitting on the gold coast a the beach for martha's sister-sweet!
then im so excited cause brooke arrives in sydney on 8th of jan and doesnt start work til 10th so ineed to get organised and book a flight to get down and hang out and see sydney for a couple of days whoop!
so hopefully that is a wee catch up of life so far i will try and keep this kinda updated. merry christmas to everyone! ann i sent some cards so mayb u might get them in...6-8weeks!
o and nic i have sent your 18th bday presssie today for jan so hopeully it gets to u!
i gonna have a bit of a chill by the pool today i think christmas eve is going to be pretty crazy tomorrow!
